    Default CTI in 20 days!

We are really glad to hear that everyone is so kind and friendly at the AN spots. It is our first time to CTI (Mar 10-17) and are nervously looking forward to getting out to the island on day 1... we have heard of way too many people waiting and regretting.

I am sure it will be as fun as everyone says... the toughest part is likely taking the first step to get on the boat!

Either way, something off the bucket list for sure!

    CTI in 20 days!

Melvin76, I think there is a term for that. It's called "Premature Evacuation" lol

Have fun! You won't stand out as a newbie, everyone on the Island is naked, so so long as you are as well, you won't stand out at all!

    Go & enjoy...

At CN, we seemed to chat with people in Bloody Bay. Then it seemed natural to chat with them on the beach as well or at the bar! It seems so easy in reality, yet hard to explain so that it makes sense. Just Do IT. Don't give it a thought. If you want to get an idea of who will be on the AN beach, go into your local grocery store and look around. Yep, that's who is there. Tall Short Fat Thin Young Old ! And all types in between. Haven't seen any supermodels yet.

My husband and I will be going to CN for the first time May 19th-26th. He really wants us to try the AN beach also. The one major hesitation I have is being so self-conscious about a scar down my abdomen from transplant surgery. Otherwise, I think I look pretty damn good for my age. It's taken me 2 years to feel comfortable in a bikini though!

I really don't want to hold him back or act like a prude. I'm just hoping someone DOES come up and talk with us to break the silence (so to speak). If I can get past the thought of people gasping and saying 'what the hell happened to her', I'm sure you can get past being a little overweight. Have fun!!

Toi/Robert.... no one's going to pay any attention to your scar.....We all have lifelines of some sort.
Just go, be yourself and have fun!

T/R Looks like we are in the same boat as far ast fist time A/N. Not model types here and I can tell you that we are looking forward to the freedom the beaches will give us. See you at the airport and race to the beaches after we arrive. Looks like this will be a great vacation!

saw plenty of "scars", and such on the island - it doesn't matter. really. i think, or at least hope all of us have the realization that we all have perfectly imperfect bodies that are constantly changing. take a breath, hold his hand, grab a drink and breathe again. then laugh and start having fun-it will be great!

Honestly, I think that bathing suits can tend to exaggerate the things we're trying to hide about our body and when you're au naturel, it may be out in the open, but it's less... "exposed". It's hard to explain, but I'm pretty sure that the non-supermodels here who have done it understand what I mean.

PS. I have yet to see one supermodel on the island. Not one. What I normally see is a fun bunch of people enjoying their vacations. Yeah, maybe one has a hairstyle I envy or another has a figure I'd love, but all have had the kind of love and companionship with each other that could make anyone envious. You see couples who have been together a long time, that you hope to be someday, and you see couples freshly together that make you remember those good early times with your partner. What I'm trying to say is that real quickly, you stop caring about who has the best hair removal and instead just enjoy the moment and your partner and get real thankful for the blessings of Jamaica and your new friends.

Last October we were at CSS on our honeymoon and my wife had never done the AN thing before. After a few drinks, we braved the walk and stepped into the nekked world. Neither of us are model material by no means, and once there, we felt totally at ease, even more so than the textile beach. You have no worries here. We were actually more comfortable at SSB than the main beach. We found the other couples there more friendly. No one gawks, and you can actually have a real conversation with others. We can't wait till we are back "home" at CSS, nekked and drinking a Bob Marley!!!!!

At T/R, are there from May 22-30....and I'm so so nervous about it...I may need some liquid courage, but it's like one of those things, that where else can you do that...no here in the states. So I hope we can be brave enough. No supermodels here...btw I wish I could fit a bikini!!!

I wondered the same thing about the A/N experience - my husband and I will be at CSA in June, and plan to go to CN for the day to try the beach. All things aside, I think I would be okay after a drink or 2. I think my husband would be, too. We will also be with friends, and they seem okay about the whole experience. Just having jitters about it!

Hopefully we only have to wear the stamp across the ass for the first day. Will have to try Kia's advice.

We are at CN, so no pool, but the hot tub and bar will be our interaction options. People say I can start a conversation with a wall, hopefully that won't change.
This is my story that I posted a couple years back.. I think you will feel better about being a newbie. LOL
I just wanted to relay my story. I had originally posted this a couple years back

December 2008 my husband and I traveled to CSS with three other couples (one couple was his sister and brother in law) We all agreed that no one was going to the "Nude Side" Well we lied...

My hubby kept testing me and asked if I wanted to go to the nude beach. He was a bit surprised when I said "ok lets go" so we snuck off one afternoon while the others were on the regular beach, he kept thinking I would get half way there and turn around... I am not a perfect body and quite heavy so I have always been very self conscious of my body. I agreed to go if we could just slither onto the beach and find a place off to the side to hide. We did just that. Two minutes after we got there he wanted to parade up to the bar for a drink... I couldn't bring myself to get off the lounge so I watched him walk away, admiring him really for his guts. While he was gone... the Conga line started and was headed right in my direction. I was dying, praying they would turn around, they did, then the guy next to me started up a conversation with me which was equally uncomfortable for me.(don't talke to me, I'm nude) LOL. I didn't get up to Pee the whole time and believe me I was in a lot of pain. But you know what? in the end, it was a great experience, and I am glad we went. We are going back to CSS Sept 5-10 2009 cant wait and we will spend the entire time at the AU Naturel Beach. It really did help me to lose my inhibitions. I hope not to hide off to the side this time.

    Go have fun enjoy...

So to add to my story, since were going back in September we decided to go to a nude campground here at home to start tanning for our vacation. It was great. We lounged around in the water almost all day and had a picnic lunch on the beach. I am really not minding this at all. Now I am wicked excited to go to CSS in Sept

Update from our trip in Sept, we headed directly to the SSB, we didn't even stop at the room first. We spent the entire vacation at the pool. We met lots of people and laughed alot. I don't think we had clothing on for a total of 8 hours the whole vacation which included the drive from and to the airport.
