Thread: Are bottoms allowed for females at CTI Island?

My wife and I are looking forward to visiting CTI in late May. Though we have done the clothing optional thing several times in the past she has always been topless while I went completely sunny side up. She is totally comfortable topless but not sure about "letting the cat out of the bag". I don't really see the difference but then again I'm from mars. Does anybody have experience with this?

Nope only on the pier can you be topless, not on the main beach or on the island, island is all nude no other options.

Unfortunately for her, no - bottoms on is a no-no at Tower Island. It's AN which means nothing on once you get on the island. Tell her to read the thread on here called "Feedback after your vacation". There are tons of people who were nervous about that as well, but tried it and did not regret it at all.

No - the island is au natural and the only bottoms allowed are those which are (as you describe so well!) sunny side up. Females can, however, bathe topless at the end of the pier but not on the beach or around the pools.

The Au Natural areas at Couples are not clothing optional. They are nude only. There is a topless area at CTI by the main pier. Sorry.

The beach and land pools are for suits. The pier at CTI is for topless. The island is for au naturel. No exceptions.

Drinks and time really help with warming up to the idea. After arriving at the island go right. Find a lounger and disrobe. Get your wife some drinks. In time she will either work up the courage to socialize, find staying in the lounger comfortable or decide AN is not for her. Using this method, it took me approximately 1 hour to fall in love with the island.

Sorry, on the au naturel Tower Isle it is all nude or "please leave". There is no "topless only" allowed. However there is a area at the end of the pier where "topless" is allowed, but then your "sunny side up" is out of luck.

Bring your wife over to the island. Take her to the far end of the island which is more secluded. Once she tries bottomless, I am sure she will be fine. Some say a drink will help. If not, no harm, just put the clothes back on and head back. 13 years ago my wife hadn't even tried going topless. Now every year we come back and spend must of our time on the island. One year she was even 7 months pregnant, without a care in the world.

Remember, attempt this early in the trip or else you will regret that you wasted all your time on the "clothed" beach.

The answer to your question is no.

My wife is exactly the same way! While we have done the AN thing at CTI she would much prefer if she could be topless with a bikini bottom or thong. Unfortunately that is not allowed. The island is 100% fully nude. On top of that the main beach does not allow women to go topless. If she wanted to go just topless she would have to be out on the pier which to be honest is just boring! We LOVE CTI and are making our 5th trip in August, we wouldn't change a thing other then allowing topless somewhere else

The Island is AN so it's AN...though topless is allowed at the end of the pier on the textile side.

I think it is so much easier to "let the cat out of the bag" at a "couples only" area, especially CTI.
No gawkers or vendors, just a bunch of people enjoying the sun, warm breeze and cocktails all without the restrictions of a wet bathing suit. In my opinion a CO area has a totally different vibe. I have been to both and I think people have a much easier time getting naked when everyone else is naked. An even playing field if you will. You're both going to love the island.

Hi Nobodyintexas. It seems that your wife shares this issue with many others but fear not. Have a read through this thread and I believe it will allay most, if not all, of her fears. There are no AN'ers at Couples who would judge, whatever body type your wife might be. We are all different, and thank goodness for that!

Feedback After Your vacation

There are many personal experiences here that will help make the decision but unlike CO, the rules are that everyone must disrobe completely. In my view it makes the whole experience one of joy rather than with CO, which I find, personally, a bit disquieting!

Nobodyintexas When will yall be at CTI My husband and I will be there May 20-26. We are also from Texas.

That's EXACTLY how we did it. One side of the island is more private and for our first AN experience we started there... by the end of the day we were in the swim up pool partying with everyone.

My beautiful lady had the same reluctance Nobodyintexas. But after a couple of rums, she was ready to "let's get it over with" visit the island. She headed to the quiet side but after about a hour she wanted to move closer to the pool. And from there on it, it was all good - the rest of our trip she was in the swim up pool having a great time. Tell your lady to give it a go - she may discover she's hooked on the island like so many others who nervously tried it. Have a great trip "home" at CTI.
