Thread: Cuddle etiquette ?

We have never tried AN before and are a little nervous . We feel a bit shy asking this question but will give it a go . Do couples kiss and cuddle on the AN beaches or is that a no-no ? Given that it is our honeymoon and we are quite tactile generally and often smooch in public. It has struck us that a " normal " sort of smooch on a sunlounger could look a lot more suggestive if both parties are wearing their birthday suits . So what is the convention around what my daughter calls PDAs ?

My take is... Anything you would do in loungers on the textile beach that would be deemed acceptable is acceptable on the AN beach. So a kiss, a hug, helping to apply sunscreen, a pat on the thigh accompanied by an "I love you" are all fine... serious making out and groping, those enjoyable activities belong in your room.

Kissing and cuddling is fine and normal It is Couples not hedo so you will see shows of affection but not shows of making a porn The fact that you are asking shows you will not do anything that would offend anyone. Anything more than kissing and cuddling needs to go back to the room. I have seen; kissing, cuddling, and back rubs. Have even seen passionate kissing which didn't offend me because it stopped at that. You are in paradise with your soul mate love is natural whether you are clothed or not. Keep it clean and you'll be fine

I think that's a very good question. There is some public display of affection. Most couples are very discreet and know when to tone it down. There have been times when we had to throw a bucket of cold water on a couple that had crossed the line. Be yourselves but be mindful of others.

We have been to the AN beach at CSS twice (3rd time 3/6 - 3/12) and we have spent time in the pool and under the waterfall kissing and hugging. No one said anything to us, so we will continue to do it.

A normal smooch is fine. You find others doing it. Most of us refer to PDA as a more than a smooch, more like "take it back to the room" type of attention.

Kiss and smooch all you desire. We alll love people in love.

Didn't see much "PDA" when we were there, more just like a normal day at the beach, only without nasty wet swimsuits! Just go, relax and have fun. Maybe try to show a bit of restraint. Not sure many adults want to witness a make-out session...clothed or unclothed!

Thank you all. This is very reassuring and of course we do not want to give offence to others . We will kiss and cuddle and keep it clean , or head back to our room for some private time . Will now go back to just worrying about sunburn !

Take lots of sunscreen and most importantly apply before you leave your room (to allow to soak in and activate) and then reapply OFTEN, even it's the 8 hour, water resistant sweat resistant stuff. Reapply-wear hats with brims and don't forget your scalp, back of neck and chapstick with spf. We typically use stronger spf on areas more exposed and areas that aren't exposed normally. Enjoy!

Just remember the sunscreen application "30 second rule". Or was that the 3 minute rule? I can never remember...

The most PDA we've ever seen have been by clothed people. One couple in the main pool at CN was so bad, I honestly think they were doing it.

Threw a bucket of cold water on people? That will make friends!! What were the victims reaction to that? And how did you "rule" it was inappropiate?

I believe they were joking about the cold water.
