I disagree..we were there over Xmas..while laying out we covered up quite a few times with our towels because:

    A. It was cloudy and cold...low 70's with no sun and lots of wind.
    B. I felt that certain areas that rarely see the sun were starting to get burned! I used my travel towel (that I always bring with me) to cover up during high sun times (1-3 PM).

    No one was uncomfortable! :-)

We were there in January, and everyone was consistantly using a towel to sit on. I didn't see a problem at all. Also, many women, and some men, would wrap up before going to the restrooms or Bar or Food service. I'm glad they have that option if they are not totally comfortable.

This is why I like CTI. At the swim up bar this isn't an issue. We have always had so much fun I don't think I have ever noticed if someone did or did not use a towel. Next time come to CTI. When you hang out with us you might forget to use your towel

We were on SSB in January and noticed this right away. When we were there the previous year, nobody was covering up to go anywhere. This trip, we discussed the apparent changes and opted to cover when getting food, but not for trips to the bathroom or bar...but then again, we do not sit at the bar. I completely agree with the use of towels on the stools at the bar, and to us, it makes some sense in the food line as well. Having said that, the previous year we did not cover in the food line because nobody else was doing so and it was our first time there. We try to be invisible as much as possible and go with whatever seems to be the trend on SSB the week we are there...this time it sure looked like there was a majority of towels in the food line. Not so much a comfort issue as not wanting to offend anyone either way.

It's different at SSB. There is a 'swim up side' and an above ground normal bar side. We've been to TI which doesn't have seat/stools out of the pool but still nice. It is nice though to sit around the bar out of the water at SSB.
