    Another week of NOTHING .... No Loss (bad news) but No Gain (good news) ..... What does a lady have to do to make that scale go DOWN ????????????

    Approaching the double digit dance to CN ..... Really want to be at my goal by December 19 - when we head to paradise ............ PLEASE - Gods of the almighty scale ...... Only 12 more pounds !!!!

    No change this week but ran 5 miles 4 times . Better than gaining I guess.

    I'd like to join the weight loss thread if I may. I started WW online last Sunday, my weigh in day is Monday.

    I've lost 9 of the 20 lbs. I'm aiming for by our CN trip October the 12th. If I stay on track, I should meet (maybe exceed my goal) by then. Nothing like paradise to motivate you!!

    Update 8/23/11 (exactly 2 weeks in):

    Goal is 1 lb every 3-4 days by 11/18/11.

    Start weight: 222.5 lbs Current: 217.0 lbs

    Down 5.5 lbs in 14 days = 1 lb lost every 2.5 days!

    Ahead of pace!!! (Still worried about the beers calling me during college football season. Gotta stay strong!!!)

    There are no do-overs when it comes to this goal. It's literally now or never!

    Well - Back to another week of no loss ..... I hit the treadmill HARD 4X & spent about 15 hours doing lots of yard work ..... trimmed dozens of trees & loaded up all the branches by myself ...... So was expecting another pound ..... Pretty FRUSTRATED but gotta keep pluggin' away.

    Thanks Francine for the encouragement ..... I keep telling myself the same thing about the building muscle thing but seems like a lame excuse sometimes .... LOL .... Even though my PCP was even impressed with my leg muscles when I was in for a check-up a couple of weeks ago .... HA HA .... Know I'm healthier because of the good diet & exercise because my lab work all came back EXCELLENT so that's what counts anyway. I've still got 3 1/2 months to get that 11 pounds off ..... CN & hitting my goal weight would be a WONDERFUL Christmas present.

    i actually waited and started my maintenance plan on this past Monday, which was 6 days ago. I've lost 2 more pounds! Yay! But, I am trying to get my calories to where I actually am maintaining but I'm so excited to be under my goal a little. My next goal is to stay within a few pounds of my goal weight. This way, if I start to inch up a little, I can hit it hard to get back down. A "cushion" so to speak. Good luck everyone with your weight loss, and remember, one day at a time. If you mess up a little, it's okay, just get back on it!

    How to maintain??!! I planned my weight loss to make it to 25# lost by Thanksgiving (CSS 2 days later)..but will power and a lot of work got me to 35# lost as of this week. My problem is maintaining..I am either on the wagon or Waaaay off- I can't find the happy medium. Any recommendations? I have almost 3 months until vacation and don't want to gain any back!

    I was so excited! I'd finally gotten the scale to move down Sat. morning even if it was just half a pound. I'd be
    stuck at -11lbs. for waaaay to long. No matter how I worked out or what I ate. Then this morning after my
    workout and a weekend of salads and grilled chicken...low and behold I had gained 3lbs. WHAT?????? Are you
    kidding me? So I'm now bumping my workouts up to 2 times a day. I must lose this weight and this belly pooch
    (courtesy of my two precious daughters). Any advice that would help would really be appreciated.

    Can I join this group/thread please?
    I have a goal to lose 16 lbs over the next 93 days. For me, firming up is just as important as the weight goal...

    I started healthy eating plan yesterday and hit the gym for the first time today. I weighed myself at the gym and ohhhhh myyyyy I was ALARMED to find I have gained 8 lbs since being at CTI in January!
    I am getting married at CTI in Jan 2012 but my goal date is based on dress buying/fitting date

    Everyone here has such inspiring stories/losses!! Kudos!
    I think that being on this thread will keep me accountable as well as inspired.

    Hopefully, I've officially burst through the weight loss plateau I was experiencing. I finally dropped two more pounds for a total of 13.5. Only 6.5 lbs to go by Oct. 12th. Hope everyone's still dropping pounds too!
