OMG @ Klmurphy. I love peanut butter pie. The best I ever had was in New Orleans. Tried making my own a few times but it was a lot of work and not so great. Sorry I am in NY and it's a long trip to FL. Like you I struggle with the weekends. The socializing kills me. I have no willpower. If everybody is eating pizza and drinking wine I am too.

I will chime in.. I started beginning of Jan with 30 pounds to lose, I have lost 22 pounds so far so only 8 more to go! should be at my goal in a couple more weeks!

Yep and now we've added a really good restaurant that serves all these different types of crepes for dessert tonight. I'm destined to fail! LOL I am definitely a social eater too! I'm just going to eat what I want then get back on track come Sunday. :O) At least I did get up at 5:00am this morning and get my butt on the treadmill. This is a big accomplishment for me since I don't do mornings.
Amy.......congrats on your success! Are you on a certain diet or exercise program?
Mobob.......wine is my downfall! I can't live without it. I will save weight watcher food points just so I can have two glasses with dinner. LOL
Jen......did not realize Yoder's was on Man vs Food. I'll have to see what time it repeats so I can watch it. :O)

I know body fat isnt part of the thread but ive been busting my butt for 5 months and I just HAD to tell somebody.
Good job everone, losing weight and getting healty is not easy. You all deserve a pat on the back!!

Today (Friday) is my birthday (#49) & I'm determined to be good on my diet because tomorrow morning is my weigh-in & I need to see a couple of more pounds gone to keep me motivated. Tomorrow, is my party, though, so will definitely have to have cake .... hopefully I can stick to 1 piece & not the entire cake. LOL Wish me luck.

WOO HOO - 2 pounds down this morning!!!! How many Weight Watcher Activity Points do I get for Happy Dancing????? Guess not eating a big birthday dinner last night paid off.

Lost - 17
Now off to the treadmill since I feel so inspired. Next week I want to hit my 10% body weight goal .......

Julie...that is awsome and inspiring!
With less than 3 weeks to go before I hit the beach I am getting frustrated with not loosing weight. At the 7 week to go mark I bought a new workout DVD, Jillian Michaels-Met. Boosting, Fat Blasting, to change up my usual running 3-4 days a week routine and have not yet seen any results. I was hoping to lose 10 lbs and so far just have gone up. I joined WW in Aug 2009 and hit goal in Oct. 2010 with a 52 lb loss. I love wine too, that is why it took me so long. I just wanted to shed a few pounds before the trip so I have more room to gain and not come back way over goal. I just started a new diet yesterday, eating 5 small meals a day and doing low carbs and high protein. It is from the book "Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle." I figured after doing WW for so long may I just need to jolt my system. I really still would love to lost 10 more lbs but with less than 3 weeks I will be happy with whatever my body gives me. I weigh in at my WW meeting on Tuesday and I will let you all know how it goes.
Oh yeah, and this new diet does not allow alchols. So sad! I can't wait to get to Jamaica. It also will really test me that I am working at an Ice Wine Festival next weekend. If I can see some great weight loss results by then that will really help motivate me to stay away from the wine.

My girfriend Jodi and I are visiting Jamaica and one of the Couples(secret rendevous) for the first time in March. I wanted to try to get in to better beach shape for the visit! Started January 3 after wayyyyyy too much celebrating with a 25 pound ultimate goal. I weighed in on February 1st down 14 pounds! I weigh in again on Wednesday. I am hopeing for another 8 at least. Fitting back into 32's which is awesome for me. Good luck to all and stay strong. I almost wavered last week.

Started Jan 24th with "The 17-Day Diet". There are four (4) 17-day cycles. Love the menu options. Have just moved to cycle 3. Now the challenge is to do some redistribution via exercise. Currently walking 3 miles a day, but need to start increase intensity and add weight-bearing. CSA 4/30 and CN 5/7.

Shelley......I can tell you one thing I lost a lot of weight on, not really meaning to, but at the beginning of the year after I had already started back on WW, my church did a 21 day Daniel's Fast. Ang and I took part in it because we had things we wanted to fast and pray for, but we both lost a lot of weight even though that wasn't the purpose. Basically, you eat fruits, veggies, and some whole wheats, but not bread and all you can drink is water. You have to avoid all sweetners, which is challenging. You can't have anything that haves preservatives in it which meant a lot of trips to the organic store, but it really did work for weight loss, even though we weren't doing it for that reason. Anyway, you can research it on the internet; may people use it as a diet instead of a fast. Since it's a 21 day fast, it may work well for you. :O) 18 more days for us until CSA! Yay! Can't wait to meet you!

Down 19 pounds as of today. Goal of 52. When I can make it through the weekend without gaining or even losing that is a very big thing.

klmurphy...thank for the encouragement. I am doing really well so far on this program. Too soon to tell if I have lost much yet. I think I am down 2 lbs. I will weigh in tomorrow at WW and then when I weight in next week it will give me a better idea of how this program is working for me. Can't wait to meet you at the beach party (or before).

Weighed in this morning........only down 0.6. I guess that's better than nothing considering my weekend consisted of crepes, pizza, wings, and wine. LOL I really have to get some will power. I did do a ton of exercise though.
I should do really well during the week this week, but Angelo keeps bothering me to go have crepes again. He has metabolism that's just crazy. It's nice that he thinks I'm perfect and that I don't need to lose any weight, but sometimes it makes it hard because he always wants to eat yummy (bad for you)foods. LOL He could eat bad for weeks and not gain a pound! It's just not fair.
This weekend may be a little difficult because we're taking the kids to the Strawberry Festival which means........corn dogs, funnel cakes, strawberry shortcake, etc. I just have to be on my game! Wish me luck! By the way, you're all doing so well!!! Congrats!!! :O)

Its been a crazy few wks but finally back! Im down another 2 lbs and J is down another 3 lbs. Getting there slowly! Ive been on the journey since July and lost 26 lbs so far so am excited to get to my goal weight by October! More importantly Ive lost 9" on my hips and 12" on my waist and the baby belly is shrinking!

I want to join! I've lost almost 50 pounds in the past year and would like to lose 10 more, but I've been stuck for three months now. I'm exercising but am having a hard time getting back on track with my diet. I need some accountability! Our trip is in July, but I'd like to have this off by May. So I will make my starting loss at zero and move forward.

My goal before our week at CN is 40lbs. We will be there the middle of May. So far I've lost 23.8lbs on WW in 7 wks. Super super happy!!!!!! I think another 20 lbs in 2 1/2 months is achievable, right?
