Air Jamaica from NY

I am trying to book flights for us for Jan from NY to MBJ, and Air Jamaica has best prices an best times. Is it still OK to book with them for Jan 2011?

I wouldn't. There are just too many things up in the air with them right now. I'd either wait a bit and see if things calm down or book with another airline. I'd rather spend a bit more to know for sure I have a seat than pay less and let it be a crap shoot. Air Jamaica is just to unstable right now. I wouldn't book with them.

I would definitely NOT book Air Jamaica for Jan 2011. They are having serious financial problems, and with the divestiture to Caribbean Air having issues, who know where they'll be come January. We were going to book them for our May trip out of Ft. Lauderdale, and I'm glad we didn't the flight times are now HORRIBLE.

Thanks for the advice. That's what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure. No other flights get there that early from NY but I wouldn't want to take any chances.
