However, in spite of the arriving inconvenience, here in the computer room, set up on two tables, are our trusted, tried and true traveling companions. AKA the bags. An uplifting and wondrous sight. No impending snow storm, hurricane, tidal wave or any other natural disaster, will stand in my way of beginning to beam. From deep within, the tiny light at the end of the tunnel, is, even now, moving closer and closer to exploding into a beautiful bright flash of "It's here day". Then the giggling and happiness will be dripping from our lips.
But for the time being, as I am typing, I occasionally reach out and touch my friend that carries the load for us, and gently caress the zipper, back and forth, with my fingers. My hands tremble as I move down from the hard plastic closer to the soft silk like feel of the lining. For now, it is enough to sustain my patience and guide me through the oncoming 45 days. " Storm? Storm"? I don't mind a bit.
