Last time we were at Couples, I'd read about a certain B vitamin that helped protect against bug bites. We used it and had no problems. Can't remember which B vitamin it was. Can anyone help?
Thiamine (vitamin B1) can be used as a systemic insect repellent (the skin has a characteristic smell)
I think it helps me but the evidence hasn't proved it yet.
I've tried it before and I didn't have much luck. I've read about people having great success with it. Maybe it only works for some folks which must be nice. Tired of using the bug spray.
