    Default Beach Idea for CSA

We are heading bac to CSA YAY! I can't stop thinking about it, and my favorite part is the beach. I have been to many beaches and this is the best I have encountered. The only improvement could be more palapas or beach umbrellas. Your sister property Idle Awhile has nice beach umbrellas that would be great at CSA. It would be so nice to sit close to the water!

Randy has addressed the beach umbrella theme before. CSA has no plans for beach umbrellas. Reason being, they end up blocking views.

They were adding a few new palapas when we were there in February. My husband really enjoyed watching the process.

I agree with the "NO UMBRELLAS" policy, and I don't care for palapas either. Just my personal opinion. For added shade, CSA has added some sun sails.

I think planting more palm trees might be the way to go! My Hubby & I enjoy spending the day under a palm, listening to the rustle of the trees & watching the sunlight dance in & out of the swaying trees, and OF COURSE, we must have a frozen libation in hand !! Now that's what a call a day in paradise! I vote for MORE PALMS !!

Hope CN doesn't get either one .... No palapas & No beach umbrellas ....... LOVE the unspoiled look of the beach with just the trees for shade.

I love the unobstructed views. So even though I am fair complected, I have no problem finding a shady palm tree.

Its a beach. If you want to sit in the shade go to your porch or spring for the beachfront villa and sit on that porch.

I think there is plenty of shade right now with the amount of palapas, sun sails, and trees. I dont see anyone needing shade that cant find some. Definitely no umbrellas but I'm not sure if more trees are the answer either because they too will start to obstruct the views. They did add more palapas and I think its good as it is. There are a couple areas where they may be able to add a couple more palapas without disrupting anything. But I would hate to see them go too far. I think CSA is great the way it is. There is always room for improvement with anything. Its always a work in progress and impossible to make everyone happy but Couples sure does a fantastic job in listening to the guests, new and repeaters, to do what they can to try and make as many people happy as possible and to make the resort the best they can without disrupting the integrity if what CSA is all about.

This subject has come up in the past and shot down. Take a look the next time your on the beach at the number of palm trees. Look at the other resorts along the beach and notice how there are none. The CSA grounds crew has been very hard at work planting all of those palms the last few years. Thanks Philip!

I love the beach and the palm trees.

Wow Jayray - that's a bit directive! I am very happy for you to find a spot on the beach in full sun but lots of us love the beach and the shade and specifically choose CSA for the combination of both.

We were recently at Bradenton Beach and got quite a chuckle watching people chase their beach umbrellas. One even turned inside out!

Hey when I think of a beach I think of sun and sand, not shade and umbrellas. I'm a younger guy though and normally the older folks/I drank a bit too much and the sun is hot folks are the ones in the shade. I apply sunscreen regularly and take a dip in the ocean when I get too hot. Isnt it also nice to come back from your vacation with a little sun? Hard to de-pale yourself in the shade.haha
