We've never stayed in one, but they look like great rooms to us. We've stayed in the Garden Verandahs that have the exact same room layout, just a different location.

My suggestion is to, at check-in, request a corner room if available. The corner room verandah's are open on two sides as opposed to just one. The corner rooms also have a large window behind the bed's headboard to let in more natural light.

We'd prefer a third floor room for added privacy. The walkway that runs between the BFVS and the beach, parallel to the water, is fairly well traveled.

We had a Beachfront Veranda Suite for our honeymoon and loved it... lots of foot traffic because you're only a few steps from the beach, but that didn't bother us..

Ask for a corner room as stated above. We love these rooms because of there location. You can go back and chill on your verandah, but still feel like you are part of the action. Hope that makes sense Great to watch the sunset from the verandah too!
