    Default Booking a split trip

    Hi all,

For those of you who book trips split between two Couples Resorts - how do you do this? Do you have to book flight and hotels separately?

I've called the 1-800-COUPLES number, and they told me air and two resorts cannot be booked through them. I can only book the 2 hotels portion through them.

I cannot find an online travel site (I've checked all the major ones), that can accept two hotels plus flights. EXP can accept a partial hotel stay, but not two. TRV won't accept two at all. I've called their 800 numbers to no avail.

Bundling air and hotel will save about $300-$400 for us, so it's worth persuing. Any ideas?

We had to go through our travel agent to book a split trip. I wasn't able to do it online as a package.

Also, depending on when you're traveling, flights are only available about 300 days in advance.

So for us, we booked our April 2011 split stay (CSA/CTI) already with Couples. But we won't be buying flights until they drop the January before, and for us it's always cheaper to buy them direct from Continental.
