Calling home while at Couples - best option?

We went to a Digicel store not far from the roundabout in downtown Negril. They were very good -- before they sold us anything they put a test SIM card in the phone to make sure it would work.

We were there in June and were able to communicate with our teens via the computers on the resort...they have several computers and it's free.

We did use the room phone to call once but we only talked about 5minutes so the charge wasn't very much. BTW...we were at CN.

Does anyone know if CSA sells Jus talk calling cards in the gift shop? If not where is the closesest place to get one. We used one last year at CN and it was great. I give my cell phone company enough money throughout the year!

Will the front desk connect a caller to your room directly? Is there a charge for received calls?

Yes. We bought one at the gift shop at CSA.

We made three calls last week, just dialing the number from the room and one was fairly lengthly and the bill was less than 6 dollars, can't beat that.
