We are usually out by 10:00 at the latest and usually up by 6:00 ..... That also makes it easier to get our palapa too .....

    Hey JimandSue -

Good luck w/staying up 'til 2200!! LOL -

When we're at CSA we're usually up with the sun to watch the beach wake up, and take a few catnaps here and there....we seem to hit the wall at about 10:00....We've found, though, that by scheduling a later dinner we're able to stay up a were bit later....Funny, but one time this last trip we left Feathers at about 10:00 or so....on our walk back "home," we didn't see a soul around, and most of the room lights were off....I think it's just a few hearty souls who are able to make it past the witching hour....

I'm so happy to hear you all say that you can't stay up late either! We usually get up early and enjoy the early morning sun and surf sounds and then are dead to the world by 10 or 11pm. We don't drink a lot but what we do drink, together with all the fresh air, sun and fantastic food must combine to create one heck of a potent sleeping drug. We love it though! Makes for a fabulously relaxing holiday.

So nice to know it wasn't just us calling it quits by 10-11pm!
Neither of us drink, on our trip I had one rum punch on the Isle, and a few sips of wine with dinner one night, the wife never imbibed, so we knew it wasn't the alcohol! I think some of it to, might be that it does seem to get dark much earlier in the Caribbean than it does up here in Michigan. After all, our dinner on the beach was at 7:30pm, and it was pitch black (except for the candles) at the time!

BigKev, one trick I read that seemed to help me a couple times crossing time zones, is to go with the time it is where you arrive. So if you get into Jamaica at 5pm Jamaica time, treat it like 5pm, not the 10pm your body thinks it is. You'll get through the jet lag that much quicker, and be moving at normal times (for the time zone) the next day. Yeah, it's kind of rough, but you lose less time that way, and don't spend the next day dragging. When I flew out to California to help my brother bring his car over to the east coast, I did this, and then again when the wife and I went to visit him and his family in Hawaii.

Our Fun Days @ CN: We get up really early ..... have fun all day... skip the naps (don't want to miss anything) ... and still manage to stay up pretty late most nights... BUT we don't get upset if we end up going to bed shortly after show time is finished .... Even so we usually end up at the beach grill for a couple of late night drinks and chit chat(even if it's just a couple of soda waters).
We just want to try to enjoy every wonderful minute @ CN ...
We are Very Tired when we get back home LOL

We try to not stray too far from our bedtime schedule at home while we are on vacation at Couples.

We are usually in bed by 10:30 or 11:00 and asleep by 3.

Our first trip to CN we were normally in bed by 9:30 to 10:30. I may have snuck off to the computer lounge late at night one or two times but was in the room by 11:00 every night. We went back for a second trip and took a rather large group with us and told them ahead of time that everyone seems to be tired not long after dinner. My one buddy is a night owl and was up later then all the younger guys and girls with us. I think I made it past midnight on one of those days the second trip. Getting the 3rd trip set up as I type this.

For us, we get up by 7ish and by 10pm, we are history! And heaven forbid we take a nap after a snack in the Beach Grill on our way back from the island at 5 - because if we do take a nap, that's it for us. We are so glad that CTI now offers room service for that very reason!!!

Right there with you!! Although our flight doesn't even land till 7:30pm... Will be especially confuzzled on time as I am in LA for work this week, back to UK for two weeks, then CSA from 25 Feb. Can't wait!! But for sure, we'll be up to see sunrise, then turning in my 10:30pm most nights. Not usually a "morning person" but love being on the beach at sunrise!

Oh Wow, good question, but have to confess that after a fabulous day in the jamaican sun, fabulous frozen rum drinks, fabulous beach and water, fabulous dinner and show, we-are-done!!! We usually fall into a great deep sleep listening to those tree frogs sounds coming in through the bathroom jalosie windows!!! ribit, ribit, ribit!

My wife and I are veteran repeaters and reading these posts has confirmed what we see everytime we go. I just turned 50 and let me tell you, we are almost always the last people up partying. I see the young folks who can't pace themselves long in bed, and then the other end of the spectrum with the old-timers snoozing their way to a 6:00 AM rise. The whole scene makes us both feel very young knowing we can still close a bar. Time is what you make it, and everyone's different, so what ever works for you is all that matters.

Sharing tid bits of information like this are very beneficial. Now everyone knows that they are not the only ones that go to bed early.

10 or 10:30 for us. We never see the end of the entertainment. That sun is hot, combined with the salt air and all that great food, it's bound to drain your energy.

We cant stand to close our eyes usually call it quits when the beach bar puts the bottles up with so much to see and do how can you sleep. Really enjoyed our late night talks with andrew (one of the bar tenders at the beach bar at css) about jamaican culture and everyday life. How can you go to sleep. Not to mention the bonding and wonderful with that special someone how can anyone sleep

If you are not staying up you are missing out on magic. The ocean that still at night is amazing. Getting to know different staff is great, and watching all the behind the scenes work that goes on to make the place look perfect at 6 when you get up is incredible. We love to stay up late, dancing and singing. Get up early to drink coffee on our balcony, and live every moment we are there. We will sleep when we are dead....

I like your thought 5moremins, sleep when we are dead, but the only place I can stay awake is Vegas, I can't stay awake much past 11 or so at CN.

We're lucky to make it until 9:00 pm .................. We NEVER see the nightly entertainment at the resort so when I see these posts about "partying" I have to laugh. Hubby is normally out by 8:30 or 9:00 & I'm reading until 10:00 & up by 6:30 ..... The early morning is the BEST time at CN so I sneak out & enjoy it while he sleeps until 7:30 & then we meet up for breakfast. We're there for the beach.

We get to our room by 11 or so most of the time @ CTI, but it's pretty cool to go down around 3 or 4 in the morning to have a jerk burger and a Ting. We did that a couple (no pun intended) times last trip. Listening to the ocean in the middle of the quiet night is just so serene...... ah... I can hear the little frogs now! Holy cow I know we have got to be close to our 100 day dance!!!
