candle lit dinner on beach at CSS

hello.....

I was just wondering how we go about booking a candle lit dinner on the beach for the two of us? Do we need to book this before we go? Or can we book it once we arrive. Also,. what is the cost of this?

Nope, you can book this once you arrive! The cost is $150 and it's wonderful! I surprised my hubby with this a few trips back at CTI and the staff help me set up the entire thing, keep it a secret and helped me surprise him. We plan on giving this a shot too...Getting married on the 24th of October at CSS and would like to have this dinner that night.

My questions are: I assume that they can accomidate more than one candlelit dinner a night? is there a maximum that they can support at once? Is it worth the extra money? Seems the resort already has so much to offer built into our rate that this might be excessive (isn't that the point?). Is the menu different than whatever is being served that night?

Appetizer: scallop ceviche served with papaya vinaigrette
Soup: Jamaican pumpkin soup enchanted with aged rum
Salad: exotic lettuce accompanied with herbed goat cheese and lychees honeyed vinaigrette
Entree: petit filet mignon accompanied with sambucca flavored tiger prawns dijonaise and cognac sauces
Dessert: east meets west chocolate desire

private dinner at the Gabezo is the best at CSS.
We have had both at beach and we loved the privacy at the gabezo.

We had the private dinner at the Gazebo and I thought it was well worth the money.I would highly recommend it!

When we went in June 2007 for our honeymoon, we had the dinner on the beach at CSS. It was definitely worth it - the personal service was indulgent (he went so far as to mix drinks for us without us asking.)

I don't know if we would do it if we just went for a vacation, but if it were for an anniversary... definitely.
