Where are you a TA? I had a great TA once upon a time who was laid off. I tried another TA last year and she could not come up with anything cheaper than what I had found, but I used her (along with her extra fee) because I wanted to be connected to someone. This year, I booked our trip for 2010 myself. I like TA's and would like to help keep one employed, but it's just too difficult to find one, develop a relationship with them and feel I am getting the best deal. Living in a suburb of Detroit. Do you know of anyone in that area? Fortunately for me, I booked a good trip, saved a pile of money from last year even though we booked 4 additional days, and got a reasonable flight out on the day I wanted. The TA we used last year said that those bundled tickets you were talking about that TA's get are a certain number of tickets for certain days so you can't always get what you want.
