I just got my latest copy of "Food and Drink", and it features a new product called Wine Skins, which are ideal for travelling with these bottles without fear of breaking and leaking. Check out
www.wineskin.net. I will be using these the next trip!
I used sort of the same concept on my recent trip. I packed bubble wrap and packing tape in my suitcase. When I was ready to come home, I wrapped all my rum cream in bubble wrap, taped it up and packed it in my checked luggage. While the packing tape wasn't what I would consider "leak proof," it certainly held the bubble wrap in place. All 7 bottles of rum cream made it home safe and sound...even after my luggage was inspected by TSA (I know they inspected it because they left me a note!)
