Club MoBay is SO worth it!!

Last year we spent over 2 hours doing the snaky line dance first checking in and dropping off our bags, then an even longer line for Customs then Immigration, and we just barely made our flight. BTW, why do we have to do that when we're LEAVING the country??

This year the first thing we did was buy Club MoBay tickets when we checked in at the hotel, just to try it out, then the last night we printed off our boarding passes and that really helped because we got to go in the shorter "already checked in" line.

The absolute best thing was then heading for Club MoBay Fastrac line!! You show your ticket and get escorted into the room and you go right down the left hand wall to the first counter and in your head (never out loud!) you're thinking "sucks to be you" as you walk right past the line up! I know, it's awful but after last year it felt great! lol Then straight through the metal detector and on to the Club MoBay lounge. We checked in, had a drink and a light lunch (sandwiches, chips, sweets), then I leisurely went back to the shops to get a couple of souvenirs and of course MORE coffee beans, while my husband watched a soccer game on the big screen!

It was so much more relaxing and enjoyable and stress-free. The staff in there are just like at the hotel..so wonderful!

There's a departure screen to check your flight and they even call the flights so nobody misses their plane. Also there was a woman with a walker, and an airline employee came down with a wheelchair to help her to her gate!

This is definitely something we're going to do every year from now on. Hope they find success and stay in business for us!

Wow! thanks for this ~ I didn't know this lounge existed. Do you happen to know if you can buy the Club Mobay tickets at all the Couples resorts or should I buy them when we arrive at the airport before we go to the Couples lounge? This sounds perfect ~ I always dread the drudge of being at the airport for the return journey.

I swear it had a dot on it that I couldn't find until she pointed it out. She had a real attitude.....

$30/pp and if you don't book at the resort, you have several opportunities to do so at the airport. They have kiosks all over the place.

Yes, I have observed quite a bit of passive aggressiveness by minor authorities during our visits to Jamaica. It's almost like some of them resent you being there. I would think it would be the other way around.

It costs $30 per person and I bought them at the check in desk at Swept Away. You get a Club MoBay sheet in your check in package and I got them right away on checking in. We stayed a week at CSA then a week at CN and the sheet was in our CN package also, so I guess it's at all the Couples resorts. I can't remember if there's a kiosk in the arrivals area or not, but just get it at whichever Couples you go to.

Captain Jim, the woman you got must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed that day because we just got smiles and an escort right past all those lines....it was WONDERFUL!!

The cost is $30 per person (unless it has changed recently). It is a great deal if you know you are going to have time to kill at Sangster. If I ever buy passes for this again I will buy them at the airport. My reason for this is that two of the last three times we have flown home from MBJ we have had very little time to kill and thus no time get the full value of the passes to ClubMoBay.
