CN - Long Distance Phone Calls

My wife and I will soon be at CN and were wondering if any of you guys have ever made phone calls back to the U.S. If so, how was the quality of sound, how much did it cost, and how do you go about doing it?

We walked to the gas station down the street and bought a justalk calling card for $15. It had about 500 minutes (too many) but I didn't know the exchange rate for the currency. We have children and I needed to check on them (or so I thought). Couples also charges 2.00 per call.
