Couples Lounge/Transportation

This is my first trip and I booked online through another website. Despite this, can we use the transportation provided at the couples lounge?

Yes, no matter where you booked you Couples vacation you can take advantage of the Couples lounge at the airport and the transportation. When you arrive at the lounge your vacation begins!

It's all part of the Couples package. Get to the lounge and no problems after that. You will be taken care of very well

Watch out for the luggage handlers that take your luggage from the lounge to the bus. The process is clean and simple yet when they were loading our luggage one of the handlers went from person to person requiring a tip and would not leave you until you gave him something. He is not employed by Couples so he must be getting away with this. The wad of cash he had in his hand was something else. There are many handlers there and they are not all like this...just a heads up. Otherwise, enjoy the lounge and make certain to get a red stripe!

(Randymon here: Porters are not employees of Couples Resorts. You may take your own bags to the bus, however, if a porter takes it, you are expected to pay US$1.00 per bag.)

Thanks for the reply Randymon. I appreciate the services the drivers and the porters offer. Everyone that I tipped during our vacation did not act as if it was required and did not go from person to person with their hand out like this one did. He would stand in front of each couple until he received money from them. Needless to say, I did not appreciate his approach.

Absolutely!!! When you clear customs/immigration and come into the main, open part of the terminal, stay to your left and you will see the Couples Lounge. I hear Ava is there now. You will love her!! Walk on in, use the facilities, and get a couple of Red Stripes.......from there.....Ya Mon!!!! No Problems!!!!!

we did. $5 or so. I don't think they're couples employees.

Yes you can, they are not employees of Couples. I think we gave him $10/each. He was very nice, informative and asked us to ask him questions.

Nope Ava no longer works for Couples.
