I had a friend just finish his apprenticeship. This is the first tattoo he's done. I don't look at it so much as the Couples logo as I do a good interpretation of my life with my wife:

We celebrated our honeymoon at CTI (then COR) in 1980 and the symbol at that time was the humping lions. Upon our return in 2004 and every year since, they had changed to the twisted palm trees. I was very upset and decided a few years to have the original symbol (still have the original brochure) tattoed on my butt cheek. They can take the symbol away from the resorts but not from me. If I can figure out how to put a picture of the tattoo on the message board I will. It means alot to me and very proud of it.

If you are going to CTI in January and September of this year you may see it on the Island! Maybe I'll see u there!

My husband and I were seriously talking about getting the twisted palms. It is much more than a logo! To me it shows the love that we have for one another. That even if we are two separate beings , our lives are intertwined and we grow together. Thank y'all for sharing your pics. I want to go get ours right now!

Hey Dirtleg, I know you said keep it small but I'll tell you what I'm thinking. Let me know what you think. Doing both my legs as the tree trunks, full length runs, and the top of the trees [ all the palm branches], one on each but cheek. That way all I have to do is cross my legs and I'm good to go! If you want, I might be able to send you a picture! Cool huh?
