Got this one off the message board earlier this year. I have not tried it, so I can't vouch for it. But, the poster said it was very similar to CSA's recipe.
-1 can pureed, unsweetened pumpkin
-jar of jalapenos (you only need the juice)
-1 8oz package cream cheese, softened
-garlic powder to taste
-salt & pepper to taste
-dash of cayenne pepper
-dash of cumin
Thoroughly soften the cream cheese. Otherwise it will appear a bit lumpy. Stir in the pumpkin until it is completely mixed in. Add 1 teaspoon at a time of jalapeno juice until it is to your liking. Add other spices to your taste.
This is probably a dumb question - but what do you dip into the dip?
Sweet Potato Chips, Easy to make if your oil is the right temp, too low they sog up too high and the sugars begin to burn. I have also the recipe for the dip but instaed of the can I used grilled butter nut squash, as small pupmkins are tough to find at times. I will look for the recipe for both and include it soon...102 Days 'til Rum Cream All I Want.
