The Repeaters Dinner at CSA is at Patois on Monday evenings. When we were there in 2007, they had surf and turf.
Oh yes..Lobster & steak combo was an item of choice and was fantastic!
Definitely try to attend cocktail party prior to dinner.
Go hungry. They really put on a spread with several courses and plenty of wines to taste. Very nice dinner with a chance to meet some of the staff up close and personal. But be prepared for a leisurely and lengthy dinner, maybe a couple hours or more.
The food is always different, but well worth the long, leisurely dinner. There are a few speeches, you'll get to meet several members of the staff, and perhaps make a few new friends. It's always held in Patois.
I totally agree with the previous posts. The food and wine were great and it was nice to sit at a large table with a manager and meet other guests that were seated with us. I would like to add that you should not miss the Manager's cocktail party that is held before the Repeaters coctail party. When we were there last December it was much better than the Manager's party. All of the managers were in one room across from the Aura lounge. You can meet the managers and carry on a nice conversation with them. The horsdoeuvres and the bar were awesome. The Repeater's party was held outside Patois by the swim up pool and in my opinion was way too crowded. Then again the resort was booked solid that week so it may have had something to do with the crowding. Enjoy, it's a fun evening if you don't mind the length of time you'll spend there with a large group of people.
So they give you an invitation for the dinner or what? We enjoyed the cocktail party this past time. Everyone was so friendly and the food was great. We actually ate too much and couldn't enjoy feathers since we were full. I liked how personal all the managers were but it was a lot of the same questions over and over from each one which kinda got old.
On our visit the first part of this month, we were given the invitation at check in and were asked to R.S.V.P. There was a second invite to the managers cocktail party. Monday was our second day there. We were pesently surprised to be seated at a table with people we had met on the "meet up" message board.
