Sometimes when people are really drunk and acting foolish it takes a while for anyone to do anything about it. The first time we were there a guy had gotten in around dinner time and was very, very drunk. We were eating next to the pool at Seagrapes and the guy was making a huge scene. He was shouting to get the attention of his friends who were in the Palms and just generally being a belligerent drunk guy. He ended up jumping in the pool with his clothes on and his friends were trying to talk him out. They were pretty drunk too but not as bad. This whole thing went on for a long time. We were there for about 30 minutes and then left when we were done eating. We walked by a while later and he was at the side of the pool still making a scene.

The op did not indicate they were on lounges, - just that they were in front of the grill. I STILL hope they were just passing by on their way up the beach to their own resort.
