Questions for past CSA guests; What are good least expensive rooms with a view of the ocean? Going back, what room would YOU go with as far as locations?
Room choices are more than a glimps of the water. Do you want to sit back on your balcony and take in a tapestry of orange as the sun sets or lean over the balcony railing to see the water through some palm trees? We always book the Beachfront Suites. Not the cheapest but right on the beach, beautiful sunsets, glass less windows to hear Jamaica at night, wooden louvers on windows for airflow or privacy, and central to all restaurants. If you were to try one you would love it. Still, if money has to be saved ask yourself how much time will you spend in your room and how important the view is while there? If you plan to get up and head to the beach until it is dinner time then you may want to save some money on room categories. Just remember that I read all the time that the Garden Veranda Suites get road noise and the Great House Veranda is next to the nightclub.

Thanks RCKBert. One of the things we liked about our stays at CN and CSS (both lower price "Ocean Views") was getting up in the morning, having a cup of coffee on the balcony, and watching the ocean. BUT, I often say; "The success of a resort stay is directly proportionate to how little time is spent in the room".
There ain't no way I'm taking a chance on giving up our room....
Many people are quick to point out that you get what you pay for. Other say only pay for what you need. No matter which room you pick and what your budget to do it from you will still be there in paradise!!!! Your enjoyment of the resort and the whole Jamaican experience will not be based on your room selection but on YOU and your frame of mind. Choose to be happy, choose to have fun, choose to have the time of your life and you will. No problem mon.
