CSA talent show and booking confirmation

Hi all. I have a two-parter for ya... both questions completely unrelated. new to the mb, set to be at CSA in June. I booked through a travel agent and have received their confirmation and itinerary details. Will I be receiving additional confirmation directly from Couples? Also, is it recommended, perhaps, to reach out to Couples to inquire on the reservation?
During the talent show, is it also sort of like an open mic night? Is there a house guitar available and will the house band back you up? Should I learn some Marley or Tosh?

No, you need to sign up and meet with the Entertainment Staff in advance, ( the day of )and there is also time to practice.

Yes, Exodus will back you up and you can borrow one of their guitars- we see that all the time, even with the Drums.

"Should I learn some Marley or Tosh?"
You can perform any songs you want, but a lot of people do more contemporary stuff.

All comers are welcome for the talent show... now need to know the reggae, the band (Exodus) can probably work something out with you... They're amazing professionals, and they always seem to be able to knock out whatever the guest talent wants. Rehearsals are on Thursday (about noon or 1 pm, I believe), and it always surprises me how talented aome of the guests are.

I remember a few years back, there was a guy there that did a dead on Chris Isaak... amazing player!

Since you booked with a TA, you will not get anything directly from Couples nor can you contact Couples about your reservation. You will need to contact your travel agent about any inquiries. All the confirmations from Couples will go directly to your TA.
