CSA Trip Report
Stayed at CSA 11/25-12/2/09 in a Great House veranda suite (5206)and really liked it. It was on the 3rd floor overlooking the swim-up pool bar and ocean. Probably the best view of all the GHVS. Our week was fantastic! Was able to dine at Feathers twice, Lemmongrass (twice), repeaters dinner at the patio restaurant and the beach party buffet. Ate most breakfasts at the patio restaurant. Got hooked on the bananna stuffed french toast. Lobster night was Saturday nite at all restaurants at CSA. Had the regular entree at Feathers plus the lobster tail. The repeaters dinner was not as intimate as we have experienced at other couples resorts. It was held in the Patio restaurant and the acoustics were not good. Food was excellent but the ambiance was just not present. Maybe because there were so many repeaters at the dinner. Probably close to 150 or more people. The water sports staff were very helpful. We went snorkling, windsurfing, kayaking, hobie and hydrobikes. Also went on the catamaran trip. Rae took advantage of many of the classes at the sports complex. Note: Don't rely on the weekly internet schedule. Check the daily schedule at the resort. Overall we had a fantastic time again with Couples.Met and made some new friends both staff and visitors and will definitely return in the future. Suggestions: Sign up early for any activities or to make restaurant reservations especially for snorkling and or Feathers and Lemmongrass. The martini bar is a must if you like to try various martini concoctions. Spin class at the sports complex filled up quickly but was also offered twice a day. The veggie burger at the veggie restaurant was one of the best I've ever eaten. Overall had a great time with no complaints other than putting on 10 pounds in additional weight even after running 5-10 miles a day and doing all the other activities. I guess those 2nds and all the smoothies and exotic drinks add up.
