CSS & Red Flag Service

Hi,

We will be honeymooning in CSS from 2 - 9 September 2010 and wondered whether the red flag service that was operated on the beach in CN (which we sampled in 2008) was also available in CSS.

Yes, the Red Flag service is available on the beach @ CSS

You are not very far from the beach bar at CSS no matter where you are sitting. It really doesn't make sense to have red flag service at CSS which you will see when you get there. CSS is beautiful, you will love it, but the beach is not as deep & long as CN.

When we were there in February the main beach bar would hand out green flags to those nearest the bar, but they only handed out a dozen or so.

When the water was choppy and the water sports guys couldn't go out with folks, they would come over to SSB and provide green flag service...minus the flags.

Actually, CSS had Blue Flag Service when we were there last year.

Huh? after reading these board one thing that seem to attract peopel to couples is the uniform service. In this thread some posters claim CSS has flag service which i am sure is a nice perk. Others claim they do not and this post claim that a
"select few" get the flags. In the end it isnt a big deal however it would be nice ot know so we can manage our expectations accordingly so what is the real deal.?

We were there in May of this year and they did not provide flag service. In fact, we spent 6 straight days on the beach and only had a bar waiter come by twice and asked if we wanted drinks. No big thing for us. When we needed a drink we just got up and walked 21 steps to the bar.
