CSS Room Advice
We are Couples first timers who are booked into the CSS in a One Bedroom Ocean Suite starting Jan. 23, 2012. Since our booking a number of months ago, my wife has developed significant knee problems and is likely headed for knee replacement surgery in about April. Are there certain buildings or room locations with One Bedroom Ocean Suites that might be less problematic for the number of stairs than others? Or might we be better off trying to change our room booking to a Beach Front Suite, which I understand are more central and will generally require somewhat less climbing up and down the stairs. Thanks in advance!

KJPCalgary1 - We are fellow Canadians, from Kingston, Ontario, and just got back from our 4th trip to CSS. We absolutely love this resort, and the staff that work there. The one bedroom suites in D block would probably be your best bet for the least amount of stairs. However, if you switched to a one bedroom beachfront, and didn't schedule any meals at Cassanova, then you could pretty much remain on the beach level for most of your vacation. The other option is that no matter where you are located on the resort, you just need to pick up the phone and call the front desk, and they will send a van to take you up or down the hills whenever you want.
If you'd like, send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we'll send you all sorts of info about CSS, and a link to some of our pictures.

Yhere is also an elevator. I never used it so I'm not even sure exactly where it is, but you can use that.
