I'd be shocked......SHOCKED.....if anyone stayed in the room we did and told me there was little or no hallway noise. You could hear pretty much any noise coming from the hallway, including people talking.

I also disagree with people who say that CTI isn't "tropical" enough, or that it doesn't feel like Jamaica. When we pulled up and got out of the van, I had a "Wow" moment (even with being to CSS before). And then when you get that first view out of the lobby......incredible. To me, it looks VERY tropical. There are palm trees, beautiful water, the beach, etc......but, each person is entitled to their opinion and I respect that. I just don't agree.....
Tell you what, I'll stand semi-corrected. It was never my intention to dispute that there have been guests who did experience noisy hallways, I just wanted to clear it up that for many others, including ourselves, it was not an issue at all, altho I'm beginning to hold the view that room location dictates the level of this situation.

I also agree with you about the "tropical" attitude. I can speak from first hand experience that guests can especially appreciate the flora surrounding CTI if they take the nature walk offered pretty much every day or at least most days. The person that guides you on this walk, which never leaves the property, points out all the different plants, trees, shrubs, etc as we saunter along. It makes for a very nice hour or so walk.

Granted, CTI doesn't have the sheer number of trees and stuff that the other resorts do, but if one looks about, there's plenty to see. Besides, I still love the way this resort boldly hugs the beach and shows off its South Beach allure, which stands unique amongst the four resorts.
