CTI Departure Time

Not wanting to wish our time away but our departure flight is at 1130am. What time can we expect to be leaving the resort? Would it be good idea to get access to Club Mobay? Do we need to purchase before or can be buy at the airport? thanks

Expect to depart the hotel between 7 and 7:30 am for the airport

If you want purchase tickets for Club Mobay, you can buy them at the hotel before you depart.

I would figure you'll be leaving the resort about 4hrs in advance:
~2hrs for the bus ride to the airport
2hrs for getting through security (which will more likely only take 20-30 minutes unless there's a LOT of flights going out)

We had a 2:30 flight home when we went last time, and left the resort around 10:30 or so. I know we caught breakfast at the resort.

They usually book you to leave 4-5 hours prior to departure on a shuttle..... Our flight left at 1:00 pm and they had us leaving at 7:00 am on a shuttle... I said we'd at least like to have breakfast which started at 7:30 am, so they said we could sign a time waiver to leave later however they would not be responsible if we missed our flight hence the waiver. We did not use Mobay departure lounge but in hindsight we probably would've saved money because we shopped, which was actually quite good at the airport, then sat at the bar for 2 hours to kill time which costs at least as much as the mobay pass. Heads up, it's a few $$$ cheaper to buy the mobay pass at the resort before you leave than when you arrive at the airport.... Hope that helps.

You will leave the resort 4 hours prior to your departure (so plan to be getting on the bus at 7:30a). In our experience (12 trips), by the time we get to the airport, clear immigration and security, buy our coffee and rum, we only have about 45 minutes before boarding, so not worth doing Club Mobay. However, others have liked it.

we were at cti in january. r flight was at 1130 out of mbj on a sat. the bus left at 715.

Hello! One thing to consider...if you purchase the Mobay Departure Package, once you check your luggage with your airline, you are expedited through security/Immigration. Then you are on to the lounge where they have complimentary food and drink, such as sandwiches, patties, and an open bar.If you go on the adults only side it's quite the relaxing way to wait for your flight. We now will always book the departure package, what we debate is the arrival package. Booking the arrival package in December saved us 90 minutes waiting in line!

You need to be checked in at the airport at least 3 hours prior to your flight for international flights. We used Club MoBay and it was okay, but didn't really save us any time.
