Devastation in Vermont

Hurricane Irene really hit Vermont hard and there is widespread destruction. Please keep all those who lost their homes and businesses in your thoughts and prayers.
We consider ourselves very lucky as the only damage we had was to our driveway and the roads leading to our small village (Townshend). There are still 11 towns totally cut off; all roads were destroyed. We also lost three historic covered bridges.

This will give people an idea of how bad it was. Hope it opens okay
