Distance from Airport??

I am looking at all the Couples Resorts in Jamaica but having trouble finding out how close/far they are from the Montego Bay Airport. Can anyone provide me with that or let me know where to look?

CN and CSA - about an hour and a quarter to an hour and a half.

CSS and CTI - about an hour and a half to an hour and three quarters.

In miles or time? I'm not sure miles but travel time to the resorts in Negril is about an hour and a half on most occasions. We happened to land when it had been raining for about 24 hours so roads were flooding, school was letting out and they said some people were getting off work early due to the weather so traffic in Montego Bay was a nightmare and it took us very near to if not 2 hours. If you have good weather and conditions are right it shouldn't be that long. Travel to Ocho Rios will be longer...closer to that 2 hours. They do make a stop for bathroom and drinks you can purchase about halfway to the resort

I think you have that reversed. We've been to CN and CSS and it took over 2 hours to get to CN and only about 1 1/2 hours to get to CSS.

It is 76 km from Montego Bay to Negril.

Since they redid the highway to OR, the travel time is down to 1 1/2 hours. Last trip, we didn't make a stop and were there in a little less time.

Negril is about 70 miles from Sangster. Depending on the time it takes to clear MoBay traffic, it takes from 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours. A bad case of gridlock will probably make things miserable, but arriving on Saturday (almost always), we've never really seen that happen...

That explains it. We were there in September of 2007, so things must have improved since then.

Actually it is 76 km which is only 47 miles.

Couples resorts are so fantastic that I wouldn't let a little thing like the distance from the airport turn you off from going to the resorts. The included shuttle drive is a lovely drive and shows you the real Jamaica.

It all depends on traffic and what time of day you arrive. We have been fortunate and it has never taken us more than 1.5 hours to get to CSA but it was more than 2 hours to CSS.

The ride FROM MBJ to any of the four resorts is MUCH shorter than the ride from any of the resorts TO MBJ. Going to the resort is filled with anticipation and excitement. Going to the airport is filled with pleasent memories and a longing to return.
