It's way too far to walk, and the road is not safe for pedestrians. A cab is your best option.

You can't walk there. It's about 20 minutes by taxi.

Too far to walk. Taxi is the best choice.

we paid at the resort 10.00 a couple they take you there and wait for you about 1 hr after sunset and bring you back, it is a 15 min ride

I don't know about the distance to Rick's, but I don't find the road to be unsafe. I run from CN to CSA and back each morning. The shoulders are plenty wide to stay away from traffic which is generally light. But then again, I usually hit the road at about 6:30 a.m.
