According to the Couples website Lemongrass is Resort Casual, but it states no shorts for men in the description, is this correct. or will my husband be able to wear dress shorts there. If not it's not a big deal because he will have slacks for Feathers. Just don't want to show up at the restaurant and have to go back and change. Thanks.
I have been wearing dress shorts to Lemongrass for 8 years, both before and after the revised dress code and reservations policy. I would not worry about it. I have never had an issue with wearing shorts to Lemongrass, with my sandals by the way. I think they are discouraging cut-offs or shabby looking shorts. I also will wear a nicer fitting and "dressier" colored tee shirt with no printing or advertising and have had no problems or comments from the staff. Lemongrass is open air and can be quite hot and sticky in the evening. Most gentlemen have a sense of taste and will wear nicer looking and fitting shorts and shirts for Lemongrass. I also wear them to Palms, but the code there is much more accommodating for those who prefer to dress casually for dinner. Since Feathers is air conditioned I think that the long pants and collared shirt policy is very reasonable.
