Drinking water???

I've never been to Jamaica and can't wait to arrive in 12 short days! Just a little curious about the drinking water, does it taste different than ours in the US?

Tastes fine to me! I drink several glasses a day.

It does taste different; clean and pure, as opposed to mineral/chem infused.

Not really. It's just tap water. Besides, the tap water in the US has different tastes in different parts of the country.

I like it better than most places in Canada. It's perfectly clean and safe to drink

Even though it's not, it will take much sweeter to you the first time you drink it straight from the tap. That's the magic of Jamaica, mon.

Yeah, I think it tastes better than Chicago water. We get too much of a chlorine taste & smell in our water.
The water we have had in Jamaica tastes great.

Honestly the tap water in the US makes my husband sick ( I think he may have an allergy to floride) but he drank the tap water in Jamaica with no problems! But you can also get bottled water at any bar. I could taste a difference in the water, perhaps a bit sweeter than the US but then again everything tasted better in Jamaica!
