The water at all resorts in Negril is perfectly safe. Water and ice are fine for drinking. No problems.

I think I should qualify jon's post. Yes, you'll encounter very safe, thirst-quenching water at all of the Couples resorts, as well as at the many establishments you'll have the occasion to visit in Negril and Ocho Rios.

However, if you venture out on some of the day trips and excursions, I'd HIGHLY recommend that you bring a couple of bottles of water with you.

    Enjoy!
