Early Escapes Booking

I,m sure I have seen this question before but, I could not find it.
In order to recieve the $300.00 credits offered, must we book directly with Couples? If we book with our airline we can usually get the same rooms for a few hundred dollars less than listed, as well as get aeroplan miles (which we will be using to fly to Jamica) but, there is no mention of resort credits? Any input form anyone who has recieved credits this way would be aprreciated.

It doesn't matter how you book your trip. If you book for 2012 and stay 7 days or longer at one resort, you will receive the $300 resort credit.
