Once in our room we change into bathing suits and head directly to the beach and the most attractive patch of shade we can find. The camp is set up and a flag is found and that first hummingbird is enjoyed. Then it's into the blue water for fun!! This may continue until the sun sets and then it's over to the hot tub then dinner!!
We don't actually plan our first day, but in all seven visits it always turns out this way!
I give my wife a kiss and say thanks for saving to allow us to come back!
....The Resort Staff does give a tour of the facility. You may want to do that.

If it's your first time at the resort, a tour is worth doing. You could check email in the internet cafe. But, Couples is about relaxing, so don't forget to stop and smell the roses.
Depends what time. We (hubby and I and our wedding guests) got to CSA at about 10:00 pm, so we dropped our stuff in our room, grabbed a drink and went to the grill for a bite to eat as we were all starving by then.
Another time we arrived at a resort early morning after a red-eye charter. That time our rooms weren't ready so we had breakfast and found chairs in the shade, as we knew we'd fall asleep, in which case chairs in the sun would be very bad!
This time we'll be arriving at CTI around 3:30 (I hope, if our flight doesn't get bumped out again). So if our rooms are ready we'll change and head to the beach to hopefully catch a few rays and a drink and maybe a small snack from the veggie bar or grill.
