First time at CSA in 6 weeks time!!

Hi everyone,

In 6 weeks time my boyfriend and I will be at CSA for the first time......for that matter it's also our first time in the Caribbean! We're really looking forward to it, I just have a couple of questions....

Do CSA do the romantic dinner on the beach, and if so how much is it?

I'm a certified diver (advanced open water) but only really go diving when I'm on holiday. My last dives were in Australia at the start of this year although I did not record them in my log book, therefore have no proof of this. Will I still be able to dive the deep dives even though I can't prove I have done this wihtin the last 12 months?

Hi Emma,
Yes, CSA does dinner on the beach. I just booked one for the 20th of October, so when I'm back I'm happy to let you know how it was, but I have read over and over that it was wonderful. It's $170 USD and can be booked in advance or at the resort.
I can't answer your diving question, sorry, but I found this on the FAQ section of the website:

Certified Diver Program
Dives are offered Sunday through Friday, deep dive in the morning and shallow in the afternoon. On Saturday morning we offer a two tank dive and no afternoon dive. The dives and gear are included with the price of your stay. We offer Night Dives for an additional charge. Consider upgrading your certification while you are visiting by taking an Advanced Course for an additional charge. Certified divers can dive once per day.

The private dinner is actually $150 and it is so worth it! I surprised hubby with it a few trips back and we both loved it.

Check with the guys at the dive shop when you get in. Because you don't have a log book with recorded dives they may want you to do a refresher course which I think is 50$. They may be fine with you getting in the pool and showing your skills. Either way don't forget you certification card. The guys at the shop are great and will take good care of you. Have a good trip.

You will need bug spray and it rains for about an hour between 1-3. The sun comes out afterwards. That's the time to play squash or chill with your significant other.
