First Timer- Honeymoon Proof!

Hello! We're super psyched for our honeymoon to CN! I just had a question about providing proof of marriage for our honeymoon. We will be married on a Sunday and the following Monday is a holiday. We will not be able to have our marriage license to the county until Tuesday (the day we leave for CN).

What does Couples require as proof of marriage? Does a note from our officiant work? Will a photocopy of our marriage license suffice?

We took a copy of the document that that we signed right after the ceremony. You don't need the license.

Yes, both of those will suffice. They just need something with the date and your names. When we honeymooned at CTI in 2002 we brought a copy of our wedding program and that was enough. Have an awesome honeymoon!

We honeymooned at CSA and I did take a photocopy of the marriage license but I didn't need it. I would take one with you just in case.

Yes a copy will work. Also, from what I have read, an invitation with the date will do too.

There should be two versions of your marriage license when you pick it up from the Recorder of Deeds office. One is the official copy that your officiant will fill out & mail back. The other is your keepsake copy. You can bring that copy with you as proof of marriage.
