First timers to CSS - Can't wait!!!! Room selection??

Hey all we are first timers to couples and have to say that we are soooooooo excited to embark on our first adventure. From what we have read through the message board this is an experience that is very hard to duplicate (unless you come back!)We have seen messages going back and forth about which rooms (blocks) are the best from what we are leaning towards we are thinking F or G block (are we crazy?) we don't mind the stairs (in fact we can use the work-out) and want a touch of privacy.

As well we are self proclaimed wine'os - we were wondering about the selection (for a fee) at the restaurants. How comprehensive selection, and is the resort opposed to having us take a few bottles back to the room?

Anything all of you can help us with is very much appreciated - 17 days and counting until we hit paradise!

We like block "D" as it is in the middle of everything, but "F" or "G" is not bad at all if you don't mind the stairs. And it isn't like you are in a race. You can pause along the steps as you head to your room and look at the beautiful vista.

I have one suggestion. Take an afternoon and walk the entire resort taking a dip or soak in all of the pools or hot tubs. Remember to walk around the lake behind building "A". It makes for a fun time with your honey. And remember to stop and get a drink at all of the bars along your route.

Sorry we'll miss you...we don't leave for 27 days :-( If you like a little privacy, I would agree with your choices. We actually prefer the beachfront suites to cut down on the walking, but you can't go wrong with any choice. Have a great time, and tell us how you liked it when you get back.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies about the room!! We are getting more and more excited by the day and starting to get giddy (hee hee)

Does anyone have a good idea about the wine lists and if we can buy a few bottles and bring them back to the room with us?

Sunsets are always nicer with a glass of vino in your hand!!
