Default Fly to CN from MBJ?

OK, I need some help making up my mind... If you had the choice, would you fly from MBJ to CN or save the $200 for something else? Also, given the choice, would you fly TO CN or fly BACK to the airport in MBJ?? Thanks. 37 days n counting!
ps. This is our 3rd trip to CN, so we have 'seen the sight' on the van ride several times!!

We flew from CN back to MBJ simply because it gave us some extra time at the resort. Next time we will fly both ways for even more extra time. You have to look at your schedule though, it could be that you will arrive at the resort about the same time as if you were taking the shuttle.

To us, it is well worth the extra money for the flight..........15 min and you are there!!! We feel it is our "excursion" as we don't do anything once we get to the resort. If you are going to do it one way, I would fly back to Montego Bay on your return as it does save at least an hour which gives you more resort time on your last day!!

It really is a beautiful flight and we would highly recommend it!!!!

We always enjoy the shuttle to Couples and, like mntruck, we treat ourselves to the flight back and think of it as an "excursion" too.
The shuttle gives you a good feel for the island and way of life in Jamaica and arriving to the resort an hour or so earlier is not worth missing that experience IMO.
The flight back though is awesome and really gives you a great "birdseye" view of how beautiful Jamaica is. We've taken the flight 3-4 times from Negril but never from the Ocho side of the island when we stayed at CSS. Too expensive to justify for us.
Funny thing is though, on our last trip to CN we chose to fly back to MBJ and there was a delay of about 15 minutes waiting for the plane to fly in from Kingston. Then another 15 waiting for another passenger. By the time we took off and got to MBJ we noticed the other guests we saw in the lobby prior to leaving that took the shuttle had arrived before we did. We just laughed it off because we really enjoy taking the flight. For us it's not just to get to MBJ quicker.
I say go for it at least one time, it's worth it!

We do the flight one way, on the way to Negril. We enjoy the flight and this way do not have wait for the shuttle to leave, nor make that unneeded (for us) stop along the way.

The ride on the return is non stop and for us not worth the cost of flying.

We started using the Tim Air flight a couple of years ago and take it both ways. We will do this from now on because we feel it allows us to more enjoy the day we arrive and the day we leave so totally worth the cost for us.
