I forgot my sunglasses. (Which are prescription, and bought just for this trip.)
Wally, I have a list that I have created on my computer. Through the years I have refined it and thus no longer forget something at home. I would suggest starting a packing list and add to it as necessary. Since I bring my notebook with me to Couples, I can make changes right there at the resort. I actually have different lists going depending on where I am vacationing. This way I remember what is necessary for it location and hopefully don't over pack or under pack.
The cable to download photos from my digital camera to a computer. Since the memory card didn't plug in directly, either, I had to go through and delete photos I didn't want to keep directly from my camera to make room for more pics. This year I won't forget!
It's also handy to take a few OTC cold/allergy meds, tums, etc. in case you need them. There typically isn't a large selection in the gift shop and things are likely to be more expensive there. We spent a lot on a tube of cortizone cream one year to deal with a bug bite, and it wasn't even as strong as you'd be able to buy back in the states so it didn't provide as much relief.
I wish I would have remembered a beach bag. The ease of throwing towels, books, sunscreen, etc in bag would have been much easier.
Wally,
88 days for hubby and me!!!!! I would bring woolite singles for washing out the swimming suits. Also off wipes for at night if strolling along the beach.
Always check your SO's packing! Do not assume. Last time we went to CSA, I thought I had checked to make sure we had everything of importance...extra contacts, sunscreen, sunglasses, tennis shoes, long pants/closed toe shoes for hubby.
Then on our way to the airport, I suggest he take one pair of his shorts out of the checked bag and put in the carryon so we could change in Miami. After a moment, a look of dread crossed his face...he had not packed any regular shorts. He had swim shorts and athletic shorts but no regular ones. Thank goodness for the gift shop credit!
I forgot to bring a laundry bag (or a big plastic bag). I had a plastic shopping bag, but it wasn't big enough for it all, so half way through the week, it was overflowing.
Don't forget to pack any prescription meds. Be careful not to overpack. You'll find that you can wear you "dinner tops/shirts" more than once. Pack flip-flops for walking around.
Speaking of "dinner shirts"... I had 'em hanging right above the suitcases... but forgot to put 'em in. Doh! This explains the shirt I'm wearing in our profile pic....
We went camping one time and forgot the sleeping bags! They were right there on the living room floor ready to be loaded into the car with everything else! Good thing we packed the tent!
After our first trip I learned to bring more shirts. Even though I don't wear a shirt a whole lot during the day it's enough that I want a different one on for the evening. Saves on doing laundry.

I put my contacts in my eyes the morning of our trip and promptly but the lens case and solution back into the medicine cabinet, just like I do every morning. Fortunately the gift shop sold contact solution, but no lens case. No problem Mon! Two souvenier shot glasses easily did the trick for the week and then I had some souveniers to give to the kids.
Don't forget to NOT OVERPACK. I have learned that I really don't need all this stuff. At this time of the year, you may need a few warmer clothes but not much!
