Free MBJ Shuttle - Can you use even if your final night in Jamaica isn't with Couples

Anyone ever stayed at Couples for a set amount of nights, then another resort for the final day(s) and was able to still use the free shuttle back to MBJ even though your final night's stay wasn't at a couples ?

It seems like if you can make your way back to couples to hitch a ride they'd be open to it, but just wondered if anyone had done this before I discuss w/ them directly....

Hi,

Couples Resorts only provides round-trip transfers from/to MBJ on the day of arrival and the day of departure.

If you decide to arrive or depart from another resort, transfers are at your own expense.
