We always choose Garden Suites at CN and will be going back for our 9th visit in a few months.
There are 6 GS, all in buildings 8 and 9. They overlook the wedding gazebo and small pond. If you are on the 2nd or 3rd floor, you can see the beach from your balcony. Bldg 8 borders the road; Bldg 9 borders Grand Lido next door. CN is a small property (in a good way), so you're close to everything no matter where your room may be.
CN is remodeling the bathrooms so the following is the way they looked pre-reno. The BA is HUGE. There are two sinks, a separate rain shower, a jacuzzi tub, and a closet. The pix on the website are accurate. The BR is laid out and decorated the same as a regular room but there is more space. There is a small, wicker sectional sofa and coffee table, which gives you an extra place to sit. The balcony is twice as large as a regular room and includes a hammock.
You'll get "snacks" delivered to your room each night around 6:00. They can be hors d'oeuvres or chocolate or . . . it's always a surprise.
Other than the above, you are treated exactly like every other guest . . . and every other guest is treated exactly like you. Which we love!
We stayed in building 9 first floor garden suite closest to building 8 for 2 years in a row and absolutely loved it. Great view to the beach, the gardens and pond and it was pretty quiet as well. Since then we have just stayed in the Garden Deluxe rooms to help offset the cost of Air Fare. Plus, we really did not spend that much time in the room anyway. There great, no doubt about it though.
Here is a video I took of our Garden Suite right before check out. This is room 9301 and we absolutely loved it. By the way schwieso I may be wrong but I don't this the in room dining is new I was offered when we were there. We are currently trying to decide if we should keep getting the Suite or extend our stay with the money saved. The video is shaky it was shot with an iphone.
