    Default Getting around

My wife and I have recently booked a vacation to Couples Negril for the jast week of June and we are both very excited. We do have a couple of mobility questions. My wife has MS and while she is still very ambulatory, fatigue can be an issue. We chose CN because it appears to be the most flat and has the shortest distance between most points of interest. Our first question is to ask if these assumptions are correct?

We also know, through reading this board, that we are unable to request any room assignment prior to arriving. We have looked at the property and there are a couple buildings that seem very close to the central area of the resort. We would like to request one of these buildings, at check in, and second floor (we like the idea of a balcony), but we don't know how they are numbered. Can anyone suggest a building number for us?

This will be our first childless vacation so we are trying to maximize our efforts. Thanks to everyone in advance for the help.

The building north of the Main building(to the right if you are facing the water) is building 1 and the one to the south(to the left if facing the water) is building 6. I think building 6 is classified Deluxe Beachfront and I am not sure what classification building 1 would be.

The past 2 years we have been in building 6 and loved the room location.

    You will love your vacation!

Here's a resort map: Couples Negril resort map. Buildings 1 and 6 would be the closest. The folks at Couples try to be accommodating and should take your wife's medical condition into consideration. It may be best to contact them ahead of time and make your request, citing her MS as the need, since Couples makes it clear that they don't take building/room requests.

    Have an awesome, childless vacation!

Thanks for the info. Is CN fairly compact and easy to navigate if we do not get a nearby building?

Yes, CN is compact and easy to navigate. Buildings 1 and 6 are the closest to the center, but there are only 9 buildings total, so nothing is very far away from anything. All buildings are close to the beach and ocean. The entire resort is only about 1,000 feet from one end to the other. It has a total of 234 rooms, all double occupancy.
