I read "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" on vacation last year and loved it. The book is so much better than the movie.

Funny I read some of these books when I was at css in march. I enjoyed WATER FOR ELEPHANTS, MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL, Kristin hannah book Winter Garden, and Jodi Picoults newest book. All of those made me cry, but isn't that what sunglasses are for??? For a lighter fast paced read I read a few of the jd robb series "in death" they are like CSI set in the near future, around 2050. They aren't too farfetched and just fun!

Thanks for the suggestions! I downloaded Water for Elephants (pretty cheap for a Kindle e-book, only $4 this week) and Pirate Latitudes.
