Haitian Earthquake

My heart goes out to everyone in Haiti who experiences the horrific earthquake. I live very near the epicenter of the 6.9 Loma Prieta earthquake in Ca and know how frightening a large quake is. I am very concerned because Haita is so poor and their infrastructure is not earthquake ready.

Was this quake felt in Jamaica? Is everyone there ok?

There were some tremors felt in the Kingston area and up on the far north east coast, but not a thing felt here in Negril.

As I posted in another thread about the quake, the government and people of Jamaica were among the first to extend what they could to help the people of Haiti. These are good people.
