Emergen-C. I read it on here, actually, and tried it on my last trip in August. Works wonders. I use it at home as well. Although I try not to drink to excess, sometimes a bachelorette party gets in the way! Anyway take it before you go to bed, it helps a lot. I also highly, highly advise drinking water throughout the day and eating regular meals. The bar will be there, no worries! Personally I dislike rowdy crowds getting hammered at the pool bar. Kind of ruins the atmosphere. Believe us all when we say pace yourself. It's not a race and it's shitty to be hung over in paradise.

My husband's recommendation was a Colt 45 - puts both you, and the people who have to put up with the obnoxious behaviour of someone who's drunk too much, out of their misery.

    Justin/Kristy,
Are you sorry you asked yet? lol Not everyones idea of vacation is the same. There are those out there that think their way is the right way and the only way, and its too bad. If you enjoy your beverages go for it. You paid your money just like everyone else did. All you did was ask for a simple hangover cure... lol... you didnt say anything about getting drunk and dancing on the bars. lol So hopefully the advice that you did get helps. This is a Couples resort, not a 55+ geriatric resort. There are young couples that maybe drink a little more than others and have every right to do so. No its not hedo or a spring break kind of resort but im sure if that was the type of place you were looking for you would go there and not Couples. Apparently to some people having a hangover means you should be at some singles resortl. Give me a break. I see more drunk older people there than I do younger people. My gosh.. if they didnt want you to drink I doubt they would encourage it as much as they do on the resort. Go and enjoy your self!

Try alternating water between each alcoholic drink, no matter what your drinking! Aspirin or Advil before you go to bed helps! Eat regularly - rest - plenty of sex - all good mon!

Default Don't do Bob Marley shots consecutively

My boyfriend (Mr. always practical & a healthy) drank Bob Marley shots all night long one night, I counted 16 (he told me he loved the way they tasted). That was the 1st time I saw him sleep in past 10 @ a resort. He was hurting!

Great post... question was how to cure a hang over... not what is you opinion on drinking.... 14 days until we return... Oh and to answer the question... drink water... hydrate.... a hang over is due to being dehydrated .... and even though water is the main ingrediant in beer it doesnt count... ha ha

Dont overindulge in sugary or cream drinks, drink lots of water, & if you do wake up with a hangover, ask the bartender for some bitters or a glass of half beer & half tomato juice. I drink Diet & overproof rum while I'm there & rarely wake up with a hangover, dont know why, I'd feel like hell if I did that here at home. Also an ice cold compress on your forehead will ease the headache. Try & pace yourself although thats easier said than done. And I hate to say this but if you do get sick, just stick your finger down your throat & get it over with, I've heard many pukers over the years during our stays.

So the first time I went to couples with my (then) boyfriend, (now) husband, we went to CSA for Christmas. I was 21 and had a liver of steal.

So I said to myself - I can drink that couples martini all by my onesie.

And I finished the whole thing:

    Lesson learned.
